The word tribal is historically interpreted as “patterns on the skin. Indeed, the style resembles the whimsical patterns on the bodies of tribes in Africa, Native Americans or Australia. Nevertheless, in the modern world, the meaning of the tribal style is very often limited to sharp contrasting (no gradient) figures.
